Autism
Autism is a severe developmental disorder that can begin at birth or within the first two-and-a-half years of life. Some children show signs of autism as small babies. Other children may develop normally for the first few months or years of life but then suddenly become withdrawn, become aggressive or lose language skills they already learned.
